Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Sub-Inspector: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
   • Head Constable: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
   • Constable: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
2. Age Limit:
   • Sub-Inspector: Between 20 to 25 years.
   • Head Constable: Between 18 to 25 years.
   • Constable: Between 18 to 23 years.
   • Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC and other categories.
3. Physical Standards:
   • Height: Minimum height requirement varies by region and category, generally around 170 cm for men and 157 cm for women.
   • Chest (For Male): 80 cm (with 5 cm expansion).
   • Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
4. Medical Standards: Candidates must be in good mental and physical health, free from any diseases or disabilities that could interfere with the performance of duties.

Selection Process

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates must undergo a series of physical tests, including running, long jump, and high jump, to assess their physical fitness.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates’ height, chest, and weight are measured to ensure they meet the required physical standards.
