HARTRON SETC 2024

HARTRON SETC stands for Haryana State Electronics & Information Technology Development Corporation Limited – State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation & Applications. It’s a mandatory computer literacy test conducted by HARTRON for existing/newly recruited regular Clerks, Steno-typists, Jr scale stenographers, Sr scale stenographers and contractual Data Entry Operators/Clerks of Government Departments/Boards/Corporations/Agencies etc of Haryana Government.

Purpose of HARTRON SETC:

To assess the computer literacy skills of government employees
To ensure that employees have the basic skills needed to use computers effectively in their jobs
To promote the use of computers in government offices

Eligibility for HARTRON SETC:

Existing/newly recruited regular Clerks, Steno-typists, Jr scale stenographers, Sr scale stenographers and contractual Data Entry Operators/Clerks of Government Departments/Boards/Corporations/Agencies etc of Haryana Government

Exam Pattern:

The exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted in English.
There will be 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 1 hour.
The questions will cover the following topics:
- Basic computer concepts and operations
- Word processing
- Spreadsheets
- Presentations
- Internet and email

How is it conducted?

Online computer-based test (CBT).
Questions cover various topics related to computer applications, including:
- Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Internet and email
- Basic computer hardware and software knowledge

How to Apply for HARTRON SETC:

Applications can be submitted online through the HARTRON website.
The application fee is Rs. 590/- for non-exempt applicants and Rs. 354/- for exempted applicants.

Registration deadline: Extended to February 12, 2024
Exam date: March 9, 2024
- MCA: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- MBA: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
