The online registration process for admissions to LPU is now open. To apply students can visit the LPU website and register for the LPUNEST. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) serves as both an admission test and a pathway for students to secure scholarships. During the application period, candidates can choose their preferred programs and must take the LPUNEST to qualify for admission and potential financial support based on merit.

The university has one of the top placement records in the country. The LPU batch of 2022–24 achieved record success in the placement season. More than 1500 students secured packages ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 64 lakh. According to placement records, the average package of the top 10 percent of LPU students is Rs 12.3 lakh. 2018 batch LPU student Yasir M secured a package of Rs 3 crore from an IT company. At the same time, another student, Pawan Kunchala, has received a package of Rs 1 crore from IT company TC Central.

Among the 2023-24 batch, Yashasvi Yaduvanshi and Harsh Vardhan of BTech Computer Science and Engineering have secured a handsome package of Rs 52.08 lakh at Microsoft. A student of mechanical engineering secured the highest CTC of Rs 54.9 lakh. On the other hand, architecture, and MBA students have received packages of Rs 31.69 and Rs 29.3 lakh, respectively. Renowned companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Deloitte extended offers during the 2024 placement season.

How to apply LPUNEST

Step 1 : Online Mode

Visit admissions.lpu.in and complete the following steps

Step 1: Sign Up – Register onto LPUADMIT(admission.lpu.in) with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password).
Step 2: Payment for LPUNEST Kit – The cost of LPUNEST Kit needs to be paid by the applicant as per his/ her choice.

Application Fee:

Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys and Girls).
Printed LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1500 (for Boys and Girls). The payment can be made using Online banking/Credit card/debit card / UPI.
Step 3: General Information and Qualification details – The application form details like Aadhar card number, address details and qualification details need to be filled by the applicant.
Step 4: Exam Information – Applicant needs to book the slot (preferred venue (if applicable), date and time as per their choice) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam. Applicant can also download the hall ticket from the portal.

Step 2 : Offline Mode

Offline Mode LPUNEST Kit may be obtained by the applicant from the University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash.

Cost of Application form of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys and Girls).
Once the applicant has obtained the LPUNEST Kit, application form can be submitted by one of the following methods:

LPUNEST 2024 is the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university. It serves as both an entrance exam and a scholarship test.

Important Dates:

Application deadline: The application deadline for LPUNEST 2024 has already passed. It was February 20, 2024 for the current schedule exam and March 15, 2024 for the next schedule exam.
Exam dates: The current schedule exam was conducted from February 15 to 29, 2024. The next schedule exam will be conducted from April 15 to 30, 2024.
Result declaration: The results for the current schedule exam were declared on February 4, 2024. The results for the next schedule exam will be declared on April 4, 2024.

Eligibility:

Indian nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST.
Candidates must have passed or be appearing for their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

Exam Pattern:

The LPUNEST exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted in English.
The exam duration is 2 hours.
The exam format varies depending on the program you are applying for. However, it generally consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the following sections:

- Reasoning Ability
- English Language
- Domain-specific section (for some programs)

Selection process:
