What is CUET?
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level exam for undergraduate admissions. It offers a single platform and equal opportunities for students across India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) organizes CUET for admission to UG courses in central,state, private, and deemed universities across the country. It is accepted by over 250 universities, including the country’s top central universities such as DU, BHU, JNU, Jamia Milia, and Allahabad University, The exam is held in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode in over 300 cities across India and is available in 13 languages

WHAT IS NEW IN CUET 2025? 
Changes Introduced for CUET UG 2025 by the UGC Chairman
- Flexibility in Subject Choice: Students can now take the CUET UG exam in any subject, regardless of what they studied in Class 12
- Exam Mode: The CUET UG 2025 will be conducted exclusively in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Streamlined Subject List:
- The number of available subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37.
- Subjects such as Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, and Engineering Graphics have been removed.
- Uniform Exam Duration: Each subject exam will have a standardized duration of 60 minutes.
- Admissions for Removed Subjects: Courses related to the discontinued subjects will consider General Aptitude Test scores for admissions.
- Mandatory Questions: All questions in the exam will be compulsory.

Eligibility Criteria of CUET
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
- General Category: A minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 is required.
- SC/ST Candidates: A minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 is required.
Age Limit
- There is no age restriction for CUET UG 2025.
- Candidates of any age can apply, provided they meet the age requirements of the universities they are applying to.
Number of Attempts
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts for CUET.
- Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria each time they apply.

- Some universities may have additional eligibility criteria, such as specific subject combinations or minimum marks, for admission to certain courses.

CUET Result 2025
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various central and participating universities across India.
CUET 2024 refers to the Central Universities Entrance Test conducted in the year 2024. It’s a standardized examination held for admission into undergraduate, cuet pg 2024, and doctoral programs offered by various central universities in India. CUET 2024 evaluates candidates’ proficiency in subjects relevant to their chosen field of study, including language skills, quantitative abilities, logical reasoning, and subject-specific knowledge. The test aims to provide a fair and transparent assessment mechanism for selecting candidates for admission to central universities across the country.
CUET Exam Date 2024:
- The CUET 2024 exam will be held from May 25 to June 10, 2024.
- The exam will be conducted in two shifts:
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
CUET 2024 Registration Date:
- UG: February 27 to March 26, 2024
- PG: April 5 to May 20, 2024 (tentative)

CUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board are eligible to apply for CUET 2024.
- There is no age limit for appearing in CUET 2024.

- The CUET 2024 exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
