DUET 2024 refers to the Delhi University Entrance Test conducted for admission to postgraduate and Ph.D. courses offered by Delhi University.
Delhi University Entrance Test (Undergraduate)
- This exam was previously conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (BE/BTech) at Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT).
- However, from the academic year 2024-25 onwards, admissions to these programs will be granted through the Central University Entrance Test (CUET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Delhi University Entrance Test (Postgraduate & PhD)
- This exam is conducted for admission to various postgraduate (PG) and PhD programs offered by the University of Delhi.
- The 2024 DUET (PG & PhD) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 11th to 28th March 2024.
- Online registration for the exam will begin in February 2024.

- Undergraduate Programs: May 15-31, 2024 (through CUET UG)
- Postgraduate Programs: March 11-28, 2024

Eligibility:
- Undergraduate Programs: Candidates must have passed their Class XII examination from a recognized board.
- Postgraduate Programs: Candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in the field they are applying for.
Exam Pattern:
- The exam will be conducted online.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- The exam will consist of objective type questions based on the syllabus prescribed for the program.
- The maximum marks for the exam will be 180.
